CPED: A Chinese Positive Emotion Database for Emotion Elicitation and Analysis

Positive emotions are of great significance to people's daily life, such as human-computer/robot interaction. However, the structure extensive positive is not clear yet and effective standardized inducing materials containing many emotional categories possible lacking. Thus, this article aims establish a Chinese emotion database (CPED) (1) effectively elicit possible, (2) provide both subjective feelings different corresponding peripheral physiological database, (3) explore framework categories. 42 video clips 16 were screened from 1000+ online clips. Then total 312 participants watched rated these during which GSR PPG signals recorded. 34 that met hit rate intensity standards systemically clustered into four (empathy, fun, creativity esteem). Eventually, 22 film major formed CPED database. A 84 features extracted entered RF, SVM, DBN LSTM classifiers serves baseline classification methods. accuracy 44.66 percent for was achieved.
